7 sets in 1 day.

Ok so I've made 7 sets in a row yesterday. Scary. It was a smooth-sailing shopping - all the great finds were showing up on my face and really all I can do is just make a story out of them.

Once upon a time, there were seven sisters getting all the pretty things in fashion. One day, the stylefaerie came to visit to play.

1. Sweet Grunge in July is heading off to a wedding. She is not afraid to mix the sweet and the edgy. Wearing her favourite boots on a pale blue vintage dress, she is the coolest bridesmaid I've seen.

2. Dull and Happy is very dull indeed yet pulls off her getup quite so. She tells me she is most happy when she goes around town looking for old things - books, toys, handmade jewelry. Today she's meeting an old friend.

3. Flaunt your love is going on a date. She talks a lot about how love can be very scary sometimes. She loves it when people stares at her, asks for her number, or offer her a ride home. She thinks she's the most beautiful among her sisters. She has the kindest heart. She wants to be a wife and a mother of 6.

4. Nightingale beauty is a classic chick. She has a rare talent of hearing animals talk. This scares her and prays one day she can hear no more. She keeps this to herself.

5. Wonderland is the most playful. She doesn't like to get "squeezed" in by whatever and whoever. She's always laughing and moving and making silly faces, yet very mysterious. She always remembers her dreams and talks about it the minute she wakes up. Sometimes she writes them down on her journal.

6. Good Mourning lost her goldfish today and so is not in the mood for any adventure.

7. No Secrets is the youngest and my favourite of them all. She is free-spirited and light. She loves life in general and respects the planet. She wants to be a fairy when she dies.

And they all had great time and live happily ever after.

polka ❤ stripe

Got myself trying on new clothes in my me-time-playtime-at-polyvore. And it was so much fun combining the polka and stripe pattern!

eyelet bootie beauty

I found this beauty from FreePeople and I couldn't help but pretend to have it (because I would never buy it!). So I got the Polyvore Clipper to save the image so I can play around an outfit. It's such an easy life, trying on stuff on the net even if you have no idea if it really fits you. Nice habit and a good break from boys play.

which one?

I'm doing two polyvore sets for the big opening. Can't choose which one. (Haha as if I can copy these sets totally in reality!)

styling: bevlee goes to a wedding party

My friend Bevlee asked me to help her out in accessorizing her Promod turquoise aqua dress for a beach wedding party. I made two sets that you can go with where surprisingly both of them got no necklaces. I don't know, but I think the dress doesn't call for one. But of course I would rather advise you go for something uniquely your style bevlee like a headband and peacock feather earrings!

She wanted to wear white sandals. Perfect. So I went out to look for a white bangle with aqua studs in it. You can also add one more bangle if you want. The leafy earings are lovely. It goes well with a summer hat too - so beachy.

The second set of accessories are brighter and sunnier to balance out the cool wave of the dress. Still, loving the bangles with hints of both warm and cool tones. Gold or bronze sandals can go perfectly well too.

Hope you're enjoying this bevlee!

Hey if any of you guys want an opinion to whatever fashion problem you're having - like what my friend's having, I can help you! Just email me and then I can do you a set at Polyvore. It will be fun!

blast from the past!

My bestfriend had fun posting a set featuring her "look" while working at Bigfoot. We had great times then, of course that was when our friendship sparked. It was never dull working with her, we were a crazy duo, single and full of comic acts.

So I created a new set featuring my look way back in 2005. (Except that the sandals were red and the beaded bracelets were colorful)

And this was the old Tingbats:

Born to be a Faerie

Ok, so I had to do one more set for the challenge. Why? Because I just had to. Addicted? Well...

I just had to complete the whole bunch of me's. the designer, the mother, and the faerie. This time, I sprinkle happy thoughts, to inspire... and maybe make the world a little happier. :)

The GAP Jeans Challenge

What were you born to do?

This is GAP's challenge to Polyvore fanatics - to create an outfit inspired by whatever we think we are born to do. A set must use at least two of items from GAP and should showcase their denim.

Instantly I thought I am born to be a mother - born to rock my boys. I have always felt that me and the boys are made to fit each other in a messy and soulful way. But then I realized I am "me" first before I became a someone to another being. And so... I had to make two sets for the contest. This is my first entry as a creative and a doodler - born to create and doodle away!

The second entry is me being my boys' mama.

Hope I win! It's going to be a crazy show knowing that there are at least 1,111 entries (and counting) so far. View all entries here.

midnight blue

Midnight strikes. Mixing mystery and dark obsessions.

for the queen of my life

happy birthday Momi. This set is for you :)

I got most of my taste in fashion from her - maybe because we rock the same boat. Way back in college I remember using her vintage hippie all-leather bag. Or at some days, I can always use her tops as long as it's not too big on me. She's the ultimate ukay-queen too. She can take a day off and spend it forever in the ukay stores in cebu. So there's no wonder I got the habit from her. You can't name an ukay store that she's never been to.

I love you Momi, thanks for the inspiration.

loving jumpsuits

Jumpsuits are getting my attention at Polyvore. They create a feeling of boldness and glamour. But these little darlings can be a bit tricky. You will have to look for a jumpsuit style that will suit your figure or at least know how to carry them with grace.

My polyvore set below creates a fab look that's heading out to a fancy beach hotel resort. A two-piece swimsuit peeks out a bit from the jumpsuit while a vintage print tote bag takes the classic look of it.

This Blue Asphalt jumpsuit is a great casual look to add in your closet. Not too fancy and won't go out of style for a long time. And don't you just love the quilted leather ballerina flats that go with it? Casually fashionable.

Polyvore Madness.

Polyvore.com is my stress-releaser, idle-time on the internet. It makes me feel good, bringing back childhood fondness of creating my own paper dolls and letting out the fashion designer wannabe in me. It's crazy. It's highly addictive.

Create your own sets - fashion, interior or collaging designs - by mixing and matching images from anywhere on the web with their friendly drag and drop editor. After you have created a set, you can publish and share it with your friends and the Polyvore community.

Polyvore offers an unprecedented level of direct engagement with real products and brands, while its social features make it a powerful platform for the creation and distribution of user-generated advertising.

Presenting to you my first Polyvore set :)
